Durian (Durio zibethinus Murr.) Has a high selling value, besides the delicious taste, the fruit is also equipped with various nutrients such as vitamins B, C, E and Iron which are beneficial for human health. The development of durian plants carried out by farmers is generally generative (from seeds), thus causing the vegetative phase of the plant to be longer (about 7-10 years more) entering the generative or reproductive phase. The recommended propagation technology in fast-growing durian cultivation is grafting, which is a vegetative propagation technique that is carried out on the condition of the rootstock that has allowed it to be connected. Grafting is a technique of combining two different types of plants and growing into one plant. Grafting is able to produce quality seeds that have the same characteristics as the parent. Vegetative propagation methods, for example grafting will produce seeds that will maintain the superior qualities possessed by their parents. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of success of grafting methods in durian seedling. The research method is factorial research using Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 4 replications. The first factor is the type of variety which consists of : V1 = Kelud variety, V2 = Bokor variety. The second factor consists of three levels, namely: E1 = 5cm length of entres, E2 = 7.5cm length of entres, E3 = 10cm length of entres. Based on the results of the analysis of the variance in the average percentage of successful grafting, it shows that there is an interaction at each age of observation. The best treatment was found in V1E3 treatment which was not significantly different from V1E2 treatment, at observation 28, 42 and 56 days after grafting.
